Coupling TW
The TW coupling is an asymmetric quick coupling used for transporting liquids, solids and gases, except liquefied gas and steam.
Assembly
- Double-jaw aluminum clamp
- Band clamps
- Worm drive clamps
Temperature
from -30°C / -22°F to 120°C / 248°F
The hose, coupling, assembly method and seal must be selected according to the desired application and temperature range.
Working pressure
25 bar / 362 psi
Material of manufacture
Coupling:
- Stainless steel AISI 316 / 1.4401 by casting
- Brass CW1617N by forging
- Aluminum by forging
- Polypropylene
Seal

Exploitation
The female coupling (type MK) is connected to the male coupling (type VK) of the same diameter by pressing. The locking lever mounted on the female (MK) coupling engages the lip of the male (VK) coupling. The locking lever is rotated until both couplings are tightly pressed. The locking lever is then pressed down to seal the MK-VK connection. The locking lever prevents the connection from loosening due to vibration.
N.B.: Male and female dust caps (types VB and MB) are pressure-resistant, except for polypropylene dust caps. A locking device must be used for all connected and assembled pressure hoses.
Characteristics
1. Designed in full compliance with EN 14420-6 / DIN 28450
2. The TW brass coupling is forged
3. Correct material composition
4. Mechanically resistant lever
5. The couplings are tested using the latest measuring instruments required by the EN 14420-6 standard
Application
For the transport of liquids, solids and gases, except liquefied gas and steam
